Energy Advisory Commitee
The Energy Advisory Committee's (EAC) mission is to provide support and resources to the residents of Westminster in order to reduce energy usage and save money. This page will supply that support with state and federal grant information along with information on energy audits, renewable energy initiatives and simple tricks that can help you save serious dollars.

Our Goals are:
- Conduct energy efficiency assessments of town buildings
- Identify and recommend solutions for improving energy efficiency of town buildings, including alternate energy sources
- Assess fuel efficiency of municipal vehicle fleet
- Offer recommendations for improving vehicle fuel efficiency
- Develop and implement an energy efficiency awareness program for municipal employees
- Develop public awareness programs, providing available resources and energy tips for residents and businesses
- Develop a comprehensive energy plan with short and long term goals
- Stay informed of federal and state funding opportunities and programs
- Recommend adoption and implementation of local bylaws, policies to promote
energy efficiency.
