You must obtain a building permit for these activities: Construction, Alteration, Repair, Demolition or Change to the use or occupancy of a building or for any of these installations: Building, Plumbing, Gas, Wiring, Sign, Wood-stove Periodic inspection permits. A Wiring permit is required for any work to the electrical system in a structure, including low voltage wiring. Any proposed plumbing or gas fitting work requires the respective permit.
