The Town Clerk has responsibilities in 6 important record areas for the town.

> Vital Records > Marriage Licenses > Dog Licenses    

> Voter Registration > Absentee Ballots > Fish and Wildlife Licenses

Vital Records - Certified Copies - @ $5 Birth Certificate Death Certificate Marriage Certificate Marriage Licenses - Filing Fee - $15

Notice of Intentions - Couple must file together, no less than 3 days before wedding date. (License valid for 60 days) List of area Justices of the Peace may be obtained from Town Clerk.

Dog Licenses MANDATORY

Annual Registration- before March 31-- Fees: Spayed, Neutered - $10 (after April 15, $25) Others - $15 (after April 15, $30) May be done in person or by mail Up-to-date rabies certificate must be shown at the time of registration. Rabies Clinic held in early March  (call or e-mail office in February for exact date).

Voter Registration may be done by mail or in person. Call or e-mail office with address for mail-in form.

Absentee Ballots:  All applications for absentee ballots must be received in writing no later than 12 noon of the day before the election. Applications must be mailed or hand delivered to the Town Clerk's Office. Any form of letter/postcard or official application form may be used.
